	Graphite-Technology-Center

To demonstrate the advantages of graphite in electrical discharge machining (EDM), as well as to improve customer communication, SGL Group opened its first Graphite-Technology-Center in Bonn/Germany.

The Graphite-Technology-Center consists of a state-of-the-art machining room and a classroom for approximately twelve participants. There are one-and-a-half-day group seminars as well as individual meetings which are offered for our customers to solve day-to-day EDM problems.

Main topics of the workshops are:

Potential cost reduction by using graphite as

electrode material

Manufacture of graphite electrodes

Graphite machining under optimal conditions

High-speed milling

Bonding of EDM graphites

Clean work place by integrated dust extraction

CNC measuring systems

Conversion of data, flow of process data
