Our aim is not only to find the right candidate for the advertised position but also to check whether there are any other roles that would suit you. Please apply via our online application portal. You can use it to securely send us your full application, including your CV/résumé, cover letter, and all relevant documents. The application process is divided into several stages (clicking on a stage will display a detailed information box)

Application

Search for current SGL vacancies that are of interest to you on the indicated portals. Click on "Apply" to access our online application portal. If you are registering for the first time, please follow the instructions on the portal to receive your username and password. If you already have a username, please enter your password to log in. You can now create your own profile and upload documents. You will receive a confirmation once you have submitted your application.

Checking and screening

The recruiter responsible will check your application. If your profile matches the role, you will be invited to a telephone interview.

Telephone interview

During the telephone interview, our recruiter collects first impressions about who you are and what skills and expertise you have. He or she will also answer your questions.

Job interview

If you pass the telephone interview, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview in our office so that we can get to know you better. You will meet potential co-workers and see how SGL Carbon operates as an employer in China.

Job offer

You will receive our job offer after passing the final interview and the pre-employment health check.

Onboarding

On your first day, the personnel department is responsible for your onboarding. You will take an office or plant tour to familiarize yourself with your working environment. Your line manager will agree a work plan and training sessions with you to integrate you into the team as quickly as possible.
