SGL Group – The Carbon Company – will showcase its comprehensive range of graphite products suited for the heat treat (HT) industry at the 12th showcase of Furnaces North America (FNA) on October 4th and 5th in Nashville, TN. This event is the largest heat treat showcase in North America. SGL Group’s staff will be attending technical meetings, as well as exhibiting at booth #511, in the Nashville Convention Center.
SGL Group will be displaying a SIGRABOND® Performance grade, carbon-fiber reinforced carbon (CFRC) charging fixture, which unlike the standard weave pattern style, can be used for oil quenching. The fixture is a three tiered design, measuring 18” in Height X 24” Wide X 36” in Length. Other featured products include; SIGRATHERM® soft and rigid felts, SIGRABOND® profiles, angles and heat shields, and SIGRAFINE® heating elements.
SIGRABOND® charging systems encompasses excellent technical properties, as well as being lightweight, sturdy, and energy efficient. These systems are considerably lighter than typical competing options such as steel, molybdenum or nickel-chrome alloys; creating less thermal mass, quicker heat up and cool down cycles, increased load capacity and reduced energy costs.
