Since receiving accreditation under DIN EN ISO 17025 in 2016, we have been conducting tests and procedures in accordance with defined quality standards. We offer mechanical, chemical, and thermal testing methods for a wide range of materials.
Location, accessibility, and infrastructure
The Meitingen Industrial Park is located at Werner-von-Siemensstraße 18. It is situated in an established industrial area with excellent transportation links and infrastructure in the greater Augsburg region. The park is also close to the Munich technology hub.
Meitingen is situated between the cities of Donauwörth and Augsburg. The town of Meitingen is well connected by both road and rail to Augsburg and Munich, as well as to Donauwörth and Nuremberg. Federal Highway B2 runs parallel to the Nuremberg–Augsburg–Munich rail line and can be reached in just a few minutes.
Parking spaces are available directly on-site for employees, business partners, and guests. The facilities are complemented by charging stations for electric vehicles.
SGL Carbon at the Meitingen site
The SGL Carbon site in Meitingen is the company’s largest plant and also a major Verbund site with over 100 years of industrial history. The modern Meitingen Industrial Park is home to the Fiber Composites, Graphite Solutions, and Process Technology business units, as well as central corporate functions. In addition, the plant grounds house one of the two global production sites of the Brembo SGL Carbon Ceramic Brakes (BSCCB) joint venture.
