The SGL Carbon site in Bonn has a long tradition of training. For many years, young talent has been successfully trained here, regularly achieving excellent exam results. This year, two former trainees from the site were honored once again for their achievements at the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Industry and Commerce awards ceremony.
On October 6, 2025, at the GOP Varieté Theater in Bonn, Julian Rakipi was honored as the chamber's best machining mechanic trainee, and Keno Mischke was honored as the chamber's best ceramic testing technician trainee. Additionally, in November 2025, Keno Mischke will be honored as the best in North Rhine-Westphalia – a special recognition of his outstanding achievements.
In addition to individual successes, the Bonn site was honored for its exceptional training programs. This award highlights the high quality and commitment with which SGL Carbon supports young talent in their careers.
