How does a customer request become a finished product? Around 120 school students from Meitingen Secondary School explored this question during two exciting project days.
The event kicked off with a presentation by the Expanded Graphite business line and the purchasing department, which outlined the value stream within our company. This gave the young people an insight into how many work steps and departments are linked here and how the processes interact.
Afterwards, the students were given a tour of the production facilities and were also able to gain insights into the materials, product range, the company's own training workshop, and the apprenticeships and internships offered at the site at various stations.
