In the period from mid-January to mid-February, five young professionals successfully completed their vocational training at SGL Carbon in Meitingen. They achieved an overall grade point average of 2.2. The apprentices learned the professions of cutting machine operator, industrial mechanic and process mechanic.
In addition, two employees completed their IHK training as machine and plant operators in the last six months.
At the traditional graduation ceremony, site manager Alexander Miehling, head of HR Angelika Lippert, and the trainers congratulated the young professionals on their excellent results and emphasized the important role of the new specialists for the company.
Training manager Uwe Moderer praised the excellent results and offered his congratulations as a representative of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Birgit Burkert also offered her congratulations on behalf of the Works Council.
We are offering numerous technical apprenticeships again this year. Further information on apprenticeships at SGL Carbon and details of the apprenticeships still available can be found at www.sglcarbon.com/karriere/ausbildung.
