"Coming home safe and sound every day."
The occupational health and safety of our employees is a top priority at SGL Carbon. As a responsible company, protecting the health and safety of employees is both an ethical obligation and a requirement for the company's performance.
SGL Carbon also attaches importance to appropriate standards for business partners and takes occupational health and safety aspects into account when selecting suppliers.
The Code of Conduct and the globally applicable Health & Safety Policy and its guidelines set out the binding occupational health and safety requirements for all employees. In addition, the Supplier Code ensures that the standards also apply to our suppliers and are considered in the selection process.
Training courses, the close investigation of accidents and regular and spontaneous inspections at the sites ensure that we continuously improve our occupational safety measures and thus health protection for our employees.
