Insulation material made of carbon fibers
Our SIGRATHERM rigid felts fulfill your special requirements. This starts with standard plates and blocks and proceeds to highly specialized products like SIGRATHERM HIP cylinders for high pressure sintering furnaces. We also develop your special material recipe with you.

SIGRABOND Filwound hot pressing dies are optimized fiber reinforced products for high pressure sinter furnaces in order to face 2000 bar pressure at 2200 °C (3632 °F).

SIGRAFLEX products made from expanded natural graphite have unique properties like gas tightness, flexibility, inertness and high-temperature resistance. Their use allows for improving the performance of high temperature furnace processes, minimizing energy consumption and increasing the lifetime of other graphite furnace parts. SIGRAFLEX protective liners and diffusion barriers for example protect insulation and other graphite furnace components from outgassing of production parts and avoid undesired convection. And sacrificial release liners made from SIGRAFLEX high-purity flexible graphite are well known for allowing high furnace efficiencies and short turnaround times. The material is often used in combination with SIGRATHERM soft and rigid felts, SIGRABOND carbon fiber reinforced carbon and SIGRAFINE® synthetic graphite.
