SGL apprentices support the sheltered workshop Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk

Last December, apprentices at SGL Carbon in Meitingen again had a small sales booth at the Christmas market. The proceeds have now been donated to the Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk.

After the Christmas market in Meitingen could not take place for two years due to corona, the trainees of SGL Carbon were back with great enthusiasm on December 3, 2022. A total of 16 energetic helpers worked in teams of four at the stand throughout the day, selling potatoes.

Once again, the best-selling product was "angel curls" - potatoes cut into spirals, deep-fried and served with a spicy sauce. Almost 100 kg of potatoes went over the counter, which were thankfully donated by Robert Modlmeir, the father of one of the instructors at the site.

This enabled the young people to generate a profit of €479.20, which the site and management of SGL Carbon in Meitingen added to the proud sum of €1000. The entire proceeds have already been donated to the Dominikus-Ringeisen-Werk. The church organization was delighted with the donation and expressed its sincere thanks for the commitment.
