Our apprentices at the Bonn and Meitingen sites achieved excellent exam results. A total of 17 apprentices from this year's graduating class completed their vocational training at SGL Carbon, eleven of them in Meitingen and a further six in Bonn.
They include young skilled workers in the professions of machining mechanic, electronics technician for industrial engineering, process mechanic and industrial mechanic. During the ceremony, the site and HR managers, the trainers and the Works Council congratulated the young employees on their graduation and presented them with their certificates.
Since SGL trains for its own needs, all trainees in both Bonn and Meitingen were taken on.
