Arousing the viewer's interest right at the beginning of a video - the students of Class 10e of the Realschule Meitingen clearly demonstrated this during their final presentation of the "DigitalSchoolStory" project last Friday, April 27, 2022. In front of the mayor of the market town of Meitingen Michael Higl, the Meitingen site manager of SGL Carbon, Rüdiger Krieger, representatives of the parents' council, the teacher Isabelle Schuhladen, who had initiated the project at the school, and other school classes, including the Ukrainian welcome class, the young people impressively showed what creative videos they had produced during this time.
Working in small teams, they gave a digital question-and-answer session helpful tips and feedback from their mentor and social media professional @Versicherungenmitkopf, Bastian Kunkel, and incorporated this into their videos. The young people emphasized that the project had demanded a great deal of courage and time, but had also added a lot of value for everyone in terms of digital skills and teamwork. And last but not least, it was a lot of fun. SGL Carbon supported the project to enable the students to learn important digital skills and soft skills for the future.
